Yarmouth Isle of Wight

Yarmouth is a bustling and charming harbour town, standing at the mouth of the River Yar at the westerly corner of the Isle of Wight. Full of history, you’ll find a Henry VIII Castle, working pier, historic church and ancient town hall. It is served by the ferry from Lymington and has bus links to the rest of the Island.

With a selection of unique small shops to browse around you’ll find items ranging from art and gemstones to chandlery and handmade chocolates and if you keep looking who knows what you might find.

Yarmouth also hosts excellent pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, catering for all tastes.

From Yarmouth you can cycle/walk along the Causeway, which runs alongside the River Yar, (look out for the numerous river birds) to Freshwater Bay and beyond or walk the coastal path to Alum Bay and The Needles.
